SHIPWRECKS/99 - Saturday, March 27, 1999 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Centennial Secondary School, 240 Thorold Road, Welland, Ontario.

Price: $30 Canadian or $24 U.S. before February 15 - $35 Canadian or $28 U.S. after.

The Niagara Divers' Association is a dive club based in the Niagara Falls, Canada region. Last year we presented our fourth annual one-day symposium, called Shipwrecks/98. We're back again - with the same great location, new and returning speakers, and the determination to provide our attendees with a great day at a reasonable price!

We have kept the theme of Shipwrecks, the friendly touches such as personal nametags, the speaker displays and book signing, as well as the lunch and refreshments supplied at no additional charge. We have also booked the same location with padded theatre-style seating, easy access, loads of free parking, and a great sound system and cafeteria. We've also held our prices at last year's rates.

This year, we are very excited to have nine multimedia presentations including Garry Kozak speaking on the "Hunt for the Dean Richmond", John Chatterton, "HMHS Britannic" and "The "U-Who" (U-869), Dave Trotter on the "Quest for the Minnedosa: The Pride of Canada", Jim & Pat Stayer, "Multi-Media Encyclopedia of Nautical Terms" and "Warships & Weapons of Truk Lagoon", Mike Williams, "River of Riches - The St. Lawrence", Steve & Katrin Cooper, "Bikini Atoll" and Jim Kozmik on "Treasure Hunt - Bermuda". We are pleased to have speakers from Ontario, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Michigan. This show provides a program and format that you won't find anywhere at this price.

NEW THIS YEAR: We are inviting charter operators to send us information in advance. This will be included with packages to be handed out with your programs on check-in. Also new is a special package price for anyone (certified divers 16 and older) wishing to join the Niagara Divers' Association. If you wish to join the Club and register before the February 15 price increase, we can offer you entry to the show and a one-year membership for the package price of $80 Cdn. Family memberships are available for $140 Cdn (one-year membership plus 2 tickets to the show).

As we expect a large turnout this year, be sure to send in early to reserve a spot. Also, after February 15, 1998, the price of tickets increases. For a registration form and more information visit our website at: or call Barb Marshall at 905-382-2389 (e-mail
